What is a zine?_{A fanzine (often shortened to zine) is an unofficial collection of illustrations and written works compiled into a book and/or PDF and often accompanied by merchandise. While zines originally began as small, at-home personal creations made by a single creator, the term has since grown to include large-scale projects that involve a variety of creatives unified by their common love for a piece of media and its characters!}Is this zine physical or digital?_{This zine is digital-only.}Will this zine have merch?_{Yes, but the merch will also be digital-only.}Is this zine for-profit or charity?_{This zine is 100% for charity, benefiting The Wildcat Sanctuary.}Will this zine be NSFW?_{No, the zine is SFW, with levels of violence and darker themes to the extent present in canon, but not beyond. As an example, blood is allowed, but not explicit gore.}Will there be any shipping content in the zine?_{As determined by our interest check: yes! Ships will be allowed both inside the zine and in select merch.}Will there be any spoilers in the zine?_{We will be allowing spoiler content up to the latest episode of the anime, which at the time of this writing is episode 1106. Spoilers from manga content will be considered on a case by case basis.}What characters will be included?_{Any and all characters who were, or currently are, members of Cipher Pol. This includes animal friends such as Hattori and Funkfreed.We ask that contributors keep Cipher Pol members the focus of their pieces, but they are allowed to include other relevant characters such as Iceburg, Paulie, other Galley-La workers, and the Strawhats if they wish.}What about ships?<sub>Contributors can create for any ship as long as it includes at least one Cipher Pol member, with the EXCEPTION of:- OCs
- xReader
- Minor with an adult
- IncestOtherwise we ask that the focus remain on the Cipher Pol member in the ship if there is only one.</sub>How will character assignments for contributors work?_{Applicants will indicate which characters they would like to create for in their applications, and if accepted, will be assigned one or more of those characters for their piece. We're aiming to have a balanced mix of different Cipher Pol members!Applicants are free to include any other Cipher Pol members (or select non-Cipher Pol members) in their piece, as long as the focus remains on their assigned character(s). The only exception to this may be merch in which there isn't room for additional characters.}Are you looking for a particular kind of content?_{A contributor is free to create whatever they'd like, whether that be lighthearted and fun or dark and serious! We're looking for a balanced amount of both!}Where will zine work be conducted?_{All communication, feedback, and check-ins will be conducted in a zine-specific Discord server.Contributors are welcome to request feedback and communication via Discord DMs if they would prefer.}Do I have to pay to apply?_{Nope, the zine is 100% free to both apply and participate in!}How old do I have to be to apply?_{As the entire mod team is comprised of adults, we would feel most comfortable with an all adult team.
